NCC officially declared MTN Nigeria Network on Wednesday the winner of the 2.6GHz spectrum auction. After they gave out N18.97 billion to the Federal Government of Nigeria as payment to slots which it received within the 2.6GHz spectrum auction.

Am going to be dropping some official smartphones that can support NTEL 4G LTE network. Am about getting mine but check on all smartphones outlets in my area on Friday but wasn't available (Tecno J8), so tomorrow I will check again. Today some of our network providers have now launched there 4G LTE network "NTEL" and MTN will soon be launching theirs also, as you know already that a 4G LTE network can't work on a 3G smartphones, so we need to be getting our own 4G LTE smartphone too, so we could follow up. Am going to be dropping some official smartphones that can support NTEL 4G LTE network.  I searched for the MTN 4G network last night and am happy to tell you guys that after running little searches for available networks in Lagos, I confirmed that the MTN 4G network is already available, where I ran my searches but I will go around town today and see if its viral. Ntel to this point has been secretive or must I say selective in data dissemination and this had already placed a query mark hanging at the neck of Nigerians if really this new network provider have come to rescue us from the shambles of MTN, ETISALAT, GLO, AIRTEL and many others. 
 
Ntel announced the region for sim pickup in Abuja but failed to update us on where to get it in lagos even after announcing that Lagos may be the primary vicinity their sim is gonna be issued.

1. Free Call For Life 
It is now clear that there is nothing like Free Call For Life on the Network, What Ntel has is same as CUG(Closed User Group). 
The truth is that the first "100,000 users" are called "pioneer members or subscribers" whom will be recorded into the CUG. This simply means you will be allowed to make free calls for life to only your fellow pioneer members which are the first 100,000 people to subscribe to the network. Apart from that, other calls you make to other networks or Ntel lines that are not within that 100,000 will be charged. This includes on-net calls (except you subscribe for Ntel Premium) 
 
2. Fair Usage Policy 
Ntel secretly changed their number 6 fair usage policy and it now reads... 
"6. We reserve the right to review any stipulated fair use levels from time to time."
